Looking to find more time to do the things you enjoy most?
Try looking in your closet.
No, you won?t find that extra 15 minutes shoved in the left toe of your favorite pair of shoes.
But, you might just find it in the time it takes you to dig out that pair of shoes.
A cluttered closet will rob more of your time than you realize.
How often do you spend 15 minutes shuffling through piles of shoes and sweaters, belts, ties and handbags only to give up and wear a less than perfect pair?
If you have ever found yourself in this predicament then you are ready to clear your clutter and organize your closet.
Did you know that you could gain up to two hours every day through simple suggestions that will help you organize your closet and take control of your time.
And further, organizing your life and clearing your closet will not only afford you more time, it will lighten your stress load and help you lead a healthier, happier life.
If you could save up to two hours every day by organizing your closet, would you do it?
Most people love the idea of saving time, but dread the idea of organizing their overstuffed closets.
As a culture we cultivate disorganization from a young age ? did you ever shove everything into your closet when your mother suggested that you clean your room?
Organization doesn?t have to be a dreaded task ? but rather a thing of beauty.
First, you?ll want to break down closet organization into easily digested solutions that involve what I like to call ?helper items.?
There are numerous ways to organize your closet:
A cedar wardrobe closet may be an ideal solution for you and your cornucopia of wool sweaters; drawer dividers will help you keep those workout socks where they belong, to the right of your dress socks; and don?t underestimate the power of the hanger ? hanging a bulky leather jacket on a spindly wire hanger may find that expensive leather on the floor, sure to be lost until you dive into your shoe pile next fall.
And speaking of that shoe pile, why not store your shoe collection in individual clear plastic boxes so they can be stacked and viewed at a moments notice. The thing to remember is that even your beloved Manolo Blahniks can steal your precious time if you?re not careful.

Light Travel - Carry-On Only
by: Steve Gillman
Light travel? The last time my wife and I went to Ecuador, I had 10 pounds of luggage, all in one carry-on bag. Ana had just 8 pounds in her carry-on bag. We spent six weeks in Ecuador, at times on glacier-covered mountains, and at other times lounging on Pacific coast beaches.
Why travel lightweight? Simplicity. With only carry-on luggage, we were in a restaurant in Quito, while others still waited for their checked luggage. On busses our luggage was safely with us, not in the hold below being cut open, like one time when I was in Mexico. Others struggled down the street with three heavy bags, while we had our hands free and were walking comfortably with our daypacks. We had less to lose, less to be stolen, less to wait for, less to pack and unpack in hotels, and less to worry about.

by: Dave Robinson
The juicer has come a long way from the simple utensil that your parents used to squeeze orange juice from an orange when you were younger. In fact, it is now one of the most essential appliances for many kitchens across the country. We have learned so much in the way of why we need to consume juices of various types. Now, with technology, we have some of the best equipment to make drinking that juice easier, more flavorful, and even more cost effective. All this from a juicer? Count on it and so much more.
There are several brands of juicers on the market, but what you will find is excellent features in all of them. Many of them offer a wide range of essential settings in which to use them. You can do anything in four easy steps!
An outrageous claim, no? But I can prove it. Because you're doing it now.
Imagine your laundry basket. What are you going to wash today? Ah, socks. How will you wash them? In the machine. Now you do the wash and when the socks come out of the dryer, you wonder, "are they done?" Are they really clean and dry? Are they both there? Don't you have to match them and fold them and put them away? Because what you really want is socks that are ready to wear. And soon enough, they'll be back in your laundry basket again.
This is the circle of life: you decide what you want to do and how you want to do it; then you do it and check whether it's really done. The pattern's easy to see with a simple project, but when you're facing a complex project like writing a book, it's easy to get muddled.
To get where you're going, know where you are.

The History of Knitting
by: Howard I Schwartz
Hand knitting has been practiced for thousands of years. Where and how this art was invented is still a mystery. Some people believe that knitting began when primitive man made webs out of roots. Others think that Arabian nomads carried the craft into Europe. Still others think that this art originated in Persia. Regardless of where the craft began knitting is the textile infant.
From the beginning the art of knitting was an occupation for women. The oldest remnants of seemingly knitted pieces are those worn as socks. It seems that socks and stockings were knitted because they had to be shaped to the foot or leg. Records seem to indicate that sweaters were first knit in the 17th century. At this time the purl stitch does not seem to have existed. The first time the purl stitch is mentioneddates from the mid 16th century.
The earliest example of true knitting is a pair of knitting socks found...

Tips For Travellers To The Tropics
by: T. O' Donnell
I went on my first holiday to the tropics recently. I was afraid of catching a disease, so I did a bit of research, and took some precautions. Here are some tips I found useful.
1. Get your shots.
I spent a short time in areas relatively free of mosquito-borne disease. The key word is 'relatively'. A two week holiday in an urban area is probably alright. If you're staying for months, or in an area flagged as dangerous, get your shots well in advance. Don't leave it until the last minute, as by then it'll be too late! The drugs need some time to 'kick in', and your doctor may have to order them in advance.
2. Get an insect repellent.
I made one for mosquitoes by mixing citronella with olive oil. Citronella is an essential oil (an essence). I rubbed the mixture on all exposed areas morning and night, and after washing. Seemed to do the trick. I put too much oil in, I think,...

Understanding Your Auto Warranty
Understanding Your Auto Warranty
by: Matthew Noel
The auto warranty is something everyone thinks about when they are purchasing a car, but few of these people realize that they need to think about it after that as well. You go into a dealership, which convinces you to purchase an auto that is perfect for you. What seals the deal, in many cases, is the fact that the auto has an auto warranty on it. You think that they could not or would not offer a warranty on...
